I am parent to two young children at Guilden Morden Primary School. I’ve lived in Guilden Morden since 2014, and as a proud dad it’s really important to me to see the school at the heart of our community. I work in the life sciences sector, running a team responsible for digital infrastructure and software that supports researchers in health and genetics around the globe. In my day job I manage people, define strategy and find ways to utilise budgets effectively. And my mum was a teacher, spending 30 years in primary education. So as well as having a broad set of skills that I can apply to my governor role, I have a good feel for how schools work, and I’m always eager to hear the views of other parents at the school gates!
