Non Uniform Policy
On occasions, pupils are invited to wear home clothes to school in aid of raising money and awareness for charities, or as a reward; or when on school trips. Whilst this allows pupils the opportunity to express themselves as individuals, it must be done so in an appropriate way. It is particularly important to remember that the school is still a working environment on these days, and health and safety guidelines still apply. For these reasons, we ask families to adhere to the following rules during any non-uniform events, and please ask the below items are not worn;
· Fancy dress attire
· Crop tops or revealing items (including short skirts or shorts)
· Flip-flops or backless footwear, due to health and safety issues;
· Clothing with inappropriate logos or text
· Pyjamas or sleepwear
· The usual school rules for jewellery, hairstyles and make-up stand for non-uniform days.
We trust that you will support your child to make sensible choices and ensure these guidelines are followed.
If a pupils clothing is deemed inappropriate, we will contact you to arrange for a change of clothing to be brought to school.
